Among the pins and needles I enjoy using, are knitting needles (and crochet hooks), and this bag was created on those. I made the bag at a class run by Prudence Mapstone.
It is freeform work – done entirely at random, mixing and matching knitted bits with crochet bits, and all sorts of yarn. Smallish bits are worked or stitched together to make scrumbles, and these are joined together to make the whole.
A huge amount of fun, and because there is no pattern or picture to follow you cannot make a mistake, and your piece will be truly unique. 🙂
That’s very pretty.
